The Farmhouse, Moulin de la Roquette, is situated in the heart of the wine country, surrounded by vines in the Bordeaux region.

Moulin, the farmhouse, has been restored to a traditional French style it contains four bedrooms, (can sleep up to 8 + 2), bathroom, (with shower), separate toilet, 50sqm of lounge area, (with its own bar), fully equipped kitchen, wash room, (with washing machine) and finally an outstanding Bar-b-que area which looks over the large swimming pool and surrounding countryside.

The local village is within walking distance (approx 1km), which has all amenities including local shops that are the most helpful people and supply nearly everything.

Moulin will guarantee you, your family the most relaxing holiday possible, the west coastline only an hour’s drive, which has the largest sand dunes in Europe, Ste Foy la Grand is only 15 minutes drive which has a typical French market every Saturday morning, (highly recommended). St. Emillion is 20 minutes drive and is a famous medieval town full of amazing character, lovely places to eat and of course some of the best wine in the world.

There are Water Parks, Golf and Canoeing as well as walking and cycling that can be enjoyed close by. Really there are so many places to visit I don’t think you’ll have enough time but if you want total relaxation, next to the pool with peace and quiet then that is on your doorstep, literally.
